The TD5428-FST is the fastest to install heavy hitter flexible bollards designed to provide a visual indicator or deterent that will help to shape traffic flow, define perimeters, calm traffic and can help separate pedestrians and bicycles from motorized traffic.

  • TD5428 Bollard, the Heavy Hitter, is ideal anywhere a visible deterrent is required, including bike lanes, parking lots, bus lanes, center medians, pedestrian walkways, and transit hubs.
  • Bollards are designed to provide a visual indicator or deterrent that helps shape traffic flow, define perimeters, calm traffic, and separate pedestrians and bicycles from motorized traffic.
  • Two 4-inch bands of reflective sheeting are recessed to protect the sheeting from impacts and provide the highest degree of nighttime visibility.
  • Designed to provide maximum adhesion to the roadway, yet be removable. Installs quickly in three easy steps: drill, clean the drilled hole, and install. Done!
  • Bollard rebounds to upright position after impacts. The tube is made of UV-resistant, impact-resistant material.
  • Standard colors include White, Yellow, Black, Dark Green, and Lime Green. No expensive epoxy or other adhesives are required to secure the Heavy Hitter to the roadway surface.
  • Drill a 3/4” diameter hole to a depth of approximately 6.00 inches.
  • Vacuum or blow out the hole to remove dust.
  • Remember to wear safety goggles!
  • Check depth and clean the road or walkway surface.
  • Use an impact wrench with a 1-1/16 socket to screw the Anchor
  • Bolt in the hole until firmly in place.
  • Screw the tube and base assembly into the Anchor Bolt until securely tightened
  • down on the roadway. A special wrench is available.
  • Installation is complete
