TD5428 28" Heavy Hitter Ground Mount Reboundable Bollard

The TD5428 heavy hitter flexible bollards are designed to provide a visual indicator or deterent that will help to shape traffic flow, define perimeters, calm traffic and can help separate pedestrians and bicycles from motorized traffic.

• ▸TD5428 Bollard, the Heavy Hitter, is ideal anywhere a visible deterrent is required, including bike lanes, parking lots, bus lanes, center medians, pedestrian walkways, and transit hubs.
• ▸Bollards are designed to provide a visual indicator or deterrent that will help shape traffic flow, define perimeters, calm traffic, and can help separate pedestrians and bicycles from motorized traffic.
• ▸Two 4-inch bands of refl ective sheeting are recessed to protect the sheeting from impacts and provide the highest degree of nighttime visibility.
• ▸Bollard rebounds to upright position after impacts. Tube is made of UV-resistant, impact-resistant material with 100% recycled content.
• ▸Unique embedded anchor is made from a super-strong polymer used in engine blocks as a substitute for steel. Designed to provide maximum adhesion to the roadway yet be removable. The tough polymer anchor and steel bolt will not fuse together as can happen in other manufacturers’ designs.
• ▸The Base is made from 100% Recycled Content material into which the steel bolt is molded securely.
• ▸Drill a 2” diameter hole to a depth of approximately 4.25 inches.
• ▸Blow out the hole to remove dust.
• ▸Remember to wear safety goggles!
• ▸Check depth and clean road or walkway surface.
• ▸Fill hole with two-part epoxy to within 2 inches of the top of the hole.
• ▸Place Heavy Hitter Anchor with Glue Guard and supplied Bolt into the hole and twist anchor against road surface.
• ▸Make sure anchor stays against road surface.
• ▸After epoxy is cured, install Heavy Hitter until firmly against road surface.
